Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is officially out and it’s officially a blast and a half to play i. The game’s Wii U counterpart was just revealed to be released on November 21st this year, but aside from that, decidedly little has been shown about what the Wii U version will offer. With a little help from our friends at Amazon, we have an answer.
According to the Amazon page for the game, which was updated today, an expanded information section has given us a little bit of insight into what updated features we may see from the Wii U outing.
Whether you’re creating stages on the GamePad, competing in challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or outwitting your opponents in a brand new board game mode, there’s no doubt that the ultimate Smash Bros. game has arrived.
It looks like we’ll be seeing the return of the stage creation mode from Brawl, which is of little surprise. The Master Hand and Crazy Hand challenges were also teased by the game’s creator Masahiro Sakurai earlier this week on Nintendo’s “social network” Miiverse.
The really fascinating part of the leak is the mention of a board game mode. The nature of Super Smash Bros. already makes it a kind of hectic party game. What better addition could there possibly be than a Mario Party board game, where the pieces are fighters ii and the mini games are Smash Bros. fights with special rules? A Super Smash Party, one might say.
You can be sure we’ll be seeing a Nintendo Direct pretty soon as a result of this leak, and it will surely turn our speculations alchemy-like into hype.
